Blue Fatima Hamsa Hand Wall Hoop Art
Very beautiful embroidery of a fatima hand using beads, bullion wire thread and cotton threads on a Dupioni silk base.
☆ The Hamsa or Fatima hand is an ancient Middle Eastern & North-African amulet symbolizing the Hand of God. Hamsa in Arabic means "five", but also "the five fingers of the hand". It’s commonly used in jewelry and wall hangings. Depicting the open right hand, it’s considered a protective sign in all faiths: it brings its owner happiness, luck, health and good fortune ☆
Each sequin, bead and gemstone have been hand-stitched by me and I took great pleasure in creating this design and choosing the color combination.
