PROCESSING TIME

I ship internationally all over the world. Please note that upon receiving payment, your item(s) will ship within 1-3 business days (Monday-Friday) unless the product listing states otherwise.
As of now, this is a one-person business and I do my best to package and ship everything as quickly as possible.
If you item is ‘made to order’ it will most probably require a longer time - which is always specified in the listing. I will keep you posted via email of any delay that may occur.
Every order is carefully packaged. Single item orders will be shipped in padded envelopes and multiple item orders may be shipped in boxes.
The shipping costs are only estimates and cover the postage of the order and the packaging materials. If there is a discrepancy of over $3, the extra amount will be refunded to you.


POSTAL SERVICE

1. Domestic shipping (Japan)
All orders are shipped using the excellent Japan Post services and sent by standard mail.
Your order will be shipped in a padded envelope within 1-3 business days. If you would like to expedite your order so that it ships faster (via express mail) please get in touch with Marie at marie[at]mariemaglaque.com before placing your order to make arrangements as additional fees will apply.

2. International shipping
Everything is shipped through the Japan Post services via EMS, which is the most reliable and cost efficient shipping method to ship internationally. EMS also has a tracking number system which allows you to keep track of your parcel independently and easily. I will inform you of the tracking number once your item has shipped.
Orders are usually processed within 1-3 days after payment has been accepted (for already made items), Monday to Friday (no shipment on Sundays and public holidays).
Please kindly note that I can’t be held responsible for packages shipped to the wrong address, if the buyer supplied it. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that all shipping information is correct before completing checkout. If you think you have made a mistake and you have not received a shipping notification yet, please let me know ASAP so I can adjust the address on the package before it gets shipped (and lost).


TRACKING

Tracking numbers are available by request only for domestic orders.
All international orders are shipping via EMS and automatically have a tracking number. A signature may be required to receive such packages. If no one is available to sign for your delivery, you may be required to arrange for a redelivery or pick up the parcel from the post office indicated on the notice.


ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMES

The information below are only estimation based on the information provided on the Japan Post website.
International mail is affected by many circumstances beyond my control including, but not limited to customs delays, long distances, and foreign holidays. Please understand that once a package has been shipped, transit and delivery times are beyond my control. International packages may take several weeks to arrive, but very rarely are completely lost. In any case I will work with you to resolve the issue and we will find a solution.

Japan: 2-3 business days
Other countries : 5-14 business days.

Extra time will be required Before/After Christmas (up to 3 weeks of delays Nov 15th to Jan 15th).



LOST OR DAMAGED PACKAGES

If your package is taking longer than the estimated delivery time, please be patient! Your package may be held up in customs for some reason and will still be delivered. In the case of a lost package, please contact your local post office for assistance.
Please check the integrity of the package or envelope before signing to receive the order. I recommend refusing the package if it has been obviously damaged or tampered with. Please note, customs officials may open and examine package contents. In that case, the package will be resealed and officially stamped before being delivered.
